"Asura has escaped from Shibusen. As a result, Death Scythes have been mobilized to help deal with the spreading madness, and things are busier than ever. Students, both incoming freshman and upperclassmen, have been training rigorously so they may do their part to restore balance and return Kishin to his fleshly prison. The faculty have been doing all they can to provide guidance for their students, as well as conduct secret missions of their own under Shinigami-Sama's orders.
And to top it off.... Arachnophobia and the threat of Medusa.
No one is really quite sure of the motives held by this dread organization Arachophobia, nor of the size or power held by it. Even more troubling, the secret resurrection of the snake witch Medusa has come and gone all but completely unnoticed, as well as her own secret plots and schemes. All that is known for certain is that their forces need to be quelled and their plans stopped. Or the world, as we know it, is doomed. The race is on to find and obtain the mysterious Demon Artifacts invented by the genius and alchemist Eibon before they can be found by Arachnophobia or Medusa.
But the real question is... How much time does Shibusen have? Or much how much is Kishin allowing them to have?"
